Surprised this matchup took so long

Since joining the NFC in 2002, the Seahawks have been to the playoffs 13 times, tied for most in the NFC with the Packers. The Eagles are 3rd with 11 appearances. This is the 7th time both teams made the playoffs in the same year. It's a little surprising to me that we've somehow managed to miss playing them that many times.

Interesting factoid. It's a complicated process to determine playoff matchups with a ton of variables.

Yeah, it's curious, but hard to find any conspiracies driving it. Just the luck of the draw along the way.

Wow. You never played each other in the playoffs before? That's shocking to me. Like you said both teams have been in the playoffs a lot. I would have thought they would have played by now. But I guess this is the first one.
