despite all of the ups and downs of the season, that sack with the 2 Griffin brothers was a great moment in sports... imo

That really was a cool moment. Came at an intense time in the game too.

Thanks for bringing that up (and thanks for the link). Amidst all the wailing and gnashing of teeth it's nice to remember some good things happened in the game.

Congrats to the Griffin brothers, living the dream. :irishdrinkers:

Shaquem did a few things off the edge this year that makes me think if you scheme up plays for him he can do well as a pass rush specialist on third down.

Nice moment, but that would have been a good time for the announcers to remind everyone else in the country that they're twins.

"Shaquem Griffin's sack came on one of his five defensive snaps against Green Bay. The Seahawks went with a base-heavy defensive gameplan as they did throughout this season — for better or worse. That meant only 11 defensive snaps for nickelback Ugo Amadi."

“Shaquem's first career sack took 2.77 seconds, the second-fastest sack of the NFL postseason, according to Next Gen Stats.”

Yes, why wasn't it a regular thing?
Like the constant threat of the blitz on every snap.

The Broncos won SB 50 on the back of MVP Von Miller and his super-blitz efforts. Seems we've wasted this talent this season.

I've been banging on the table about it! He only got 5 defensive snaps last game. Mean while, Green Bay faced multiple 3rd and longs with Shaquem not on the field...

I get not having him on the field in short yardage situations or running situations if scared of the size... but there's no reason he shouldn't be on the field every single 3rd and long or passing situation...

Easy. I can answer this.

The Seahawks Defensive Coordinator, Ken Norton, isn’t a great “schemer” of defense and plays extremely vanilla.

99% of posters here want him fired.

I agree with you, if you create stunts and schemes you utilize Shaquem’s talents. But Norton Jr isn’t aware of that.

Smh.

What could have been!?!

Weren't the Broncos running a 3/4, where the OSLBs rush every passing down ?

If we put 'Quem in, we have to scheme accordingly or the blitz would be easy to read.

Well, I may have exaggerated.

But you know it’s a majority.

People here can’t stand Norton Jr.

I am one of those millions (joke) of people that want him gone!!!!!
