Why was Amadi on Adams?

A 5'9 rookie saftey/corner going against Rodgers/Adams. Amazing. How Pete and Ken Norton let this happen I have no idea and it's why they aren't playing SF for the NFC championship tomorrow.

I watched the last part without sound in a crowded casino so I didn't hear an explanation if it was indeed said.

Why was KJ on Gronk at the end of the first half of XLIX when Gronk scored a td?

Adams should have been double covered for most of if not the entire game. Was their only real receiving threat.

My guess is Lano Hil should have been over top but didn't get there in time.

In three yards, Amadi was beaten by two yards. It was mind boggling.

why wasnt on shaq on him all game. Why wasn't he doubled all game. The last play was just as baffling as the entire game before, the defensive game plan was just attrocious

Amadi has short area quickness which gives him advantage in the slot. Griffin and Flowers are better boundary corners.

Adams would beat anyone on our team, just like Baldwin used to beat anyone lined up against him.

Griffin isn't a slot corner and would be equally exposed.

It's the bad coaching decision that gets forgotten because of the constant spotlight on Pete's offensive Philosophy.

Was there an injury I'm forgetting about? Seems like an enormous failure of management to have not had a better plan at slot corner.

At least he's a corner. The plan for most of the season was to put Kendricks on the slot receivers. Or remember that time Jarran Reed dropped into "coverage" on the slot receiver? That was great too.

You realilze this is 2-man under with a safety over the top? He was essentially doubled. Just awful execution, by both, but particularly Hill.

And Griffin wasn't on him because he hasn't practiced from the slot a day in his life.

Yep, they were bracketing Adams on a lot of those plays, it just didn't matter because they're man coverage is just bad, they really should've stayed in Cover 2 zone.
