Looks like a bargin compaired to Fant. If he can come close to 2018 production this is a steal but time will tell on this one. I have high hopes for Reed and fills a big need.

Sounds like a great deal around 10mill. Now if Jefferson would take 7-8mill. Would also be nice.

If that is what the Hawks just signed Reed for, that is a deal for the Hawks! I’ll take it

If he rocks, then it's a bargain and you get him a second year. If he sucks, cut him in year two. If he's average...well that's probably even worse because then you are debating what to do again at that number. Hope it's front loaded.

It won't matter if Clowney or Yannick aren't here though. He needs another guy to shine.

I'm pumped about this. I think we'll see Reed playing next season more like his 2018 self than 2019.

Sherman had a PED suspension, he just beat it on appeal. People forget that.

Reed has 10.5 sacks from DT in 2018. Fans forget that too.

Either way he needs to ball out as the Hawks showed some faith in him.

This seems a little high unless he can find his 2018 play again next season. I certainly hope so because the 2019 version wasn't it.

I actually thought Jefferson would be our first DL re-signing. Guess not.

More than I was expecting but the going rate for good DT's is pretty steep right now. This deal likely has a reasonable out for Seattle after this year but we will have to see.

This is just as Rob Statton predicted with Reed. He's a core team player in Pete's mind, it's all good even if it's about $1.5 mil/yr. high.

No one has forgotten his 2018 production. But they also haven't forgotten his 2019 production as well.

Personally, I do hope he gets his 2018 body back in gear because we need that interior havoc this season.
