Team just signed Phillip Dorsett , however with Olsen and if Dissly is healthy I can see more two tight end formations as opposed to 3 WR sets. Not to many LB's can stay with those two and Russ has no problem throwing to TE's. If Gordon is eligible and returns that could change.

Always looking for favorable match ups. So it's a huge advantage, going into any game, to have a robust roster that can support an extensive combination of personnel groups and schemes.

An eleven personnel group that includes Lockett and Dorsett and Metcalf should be scary.

Yeah, the thought of Olsen and Dis on the field together is very intriguing. Along with DK, Lock and Dorsett. Damn, that's a pretty nice offensive attack to go along with Carson and Russ. More weapons to work with and a nice mix of vets and young guys on this team overall.

The 12 personnel group is very well suited for today's NFL where most defenses like to leave six (or fewer) in the box in exchange for extra DBs in coverage.

One of the benefits of 12 personnel is that by creating eight gaps at the line of scrimmage it forces the opposing defense to stack an 8th defender (strong safety) in the box as a response. If you run trips with both TEs on the same side and the flanker WR on the sideline then you're guaranteed a 1 on 1 route for either the flanking WR or the split end WR. Even if you run standard with a TE on each side then the safety still has to commit to one side of the field early.

It also makes a lot of sense based on our current personnel. DK(X) - Olsen(Y) - Carson(F) - Dissly(H) - Lockett(Z) is clearly our best lineup right now.

We could even fool around with a few 2 TEs, 3 WRs, but Wilson running the ball just to surprise someone.
