  • Schizznit!

Let's hope there is no substance to this situation, or the best offseason move may blow up in the team's face.

  • The best part of the story:

"According to cops, some people at the party believe it was a planned robbery because when the 3 men were done taking valuables, there were 3 getaway cars strategically positioned to "expedite an immediate departure."

FYI, the alleged getaway cars were SICK -- a Lamborghini, a Mercedes Benz and a BMW."

  • Yeah, armed robbery? He's seeing a few years in prison. Plus will likely serve an NFL suspension.

  • Well that ends that hope at getting better on the secondary. The defense is going to be a big problem this year.. I'm sure there is an out clause in that contract so the cap penalty doesnt count. No doubt he is getting released.

Can't do anything about the pick but his $$ don't count if he is suspended by the NFL.

Not so fast, didn’t we have a certain confessed felon play LB for a couple seasons?

Reaches? You can't be serious. McDowell had a dumb accident. This sounds like a premeditated crime. It exceeds McDowell 1000 fold.

  • Wow. Just WOW.
Multi-million dollar NFL career, or less than $100K split 3 ways... this is beyond belief.
In what alternate universe did they think this would end well?

Will be interesting to see if/what defense is put forth...
    * Mistaken identity?
    * Family member being held captive, perps doing this under duress?
    * This was a staged flash-mob event where the perps and the victims were in cahoots putting on a show?
Out of the kindness of their heart to generate some non-Coronavirus news? So it was a humanitarian gesture, then?

The other answer is simply unbelievable stupidity...
Did the NFL stop paychecks or something during the Covid-19 mess?
Are these dudes living paycheck to paycheck on what they make?

Man, I've agreed with this SeanHawk dude like once out of every 10 of his posts...
But SeanHawk wins the thread (for now) with this one.

P.S. JK about the 1 out of 10 posts, but serious about SeanHawk wins the thread. Which is really hard for someone with his avatar to do.

I've lowered my standards so now lower yours.
Wait, that doesn't have quite the same ring as how Pat Paulsen said it.
I think he said Upped and up, or something like that.
He was the funniest of the candidates, don't know why he didn't ever win.

Sorry for being vague. I wasn’t comparing their level of stupidity between their actions. It more a comparison that their stupidity prevented them from playing for the Seahawks prior to their first game with the team. I assumed it would be obvious that someone who committed a crime would be dumber than someone who had an accident.
