Nothing too exciting. Would rather sign a bruiser. TJ Duckett style bulldozer.

I'm okay with this as well. Freeman was pretty good overall until he had some I jury issues. Just gives another option over having to rely on guys like Homer to be the number 1. I'd rather see this than Lynch imo.

You never know but, I don't have high expectations for Homer or our draft picks. They deserve a chance but, Freeman is still young enough and has proven himself during his Atl run.

Sounds like a good option.

No thanks. He's a terrible pass protector, prone to injury and fumbles.

Would rather have Deejay Dallas, Beast or Homer

Not saying I necessarily want him - but he's fairly durable, played at least 14 games a season every season apart from 2018.
Only averaged 3.6 yards a carry last year. it's a pass from me, better to spend money elsewhere

I'll take the Beast over Freeman any day. He brings the element of Seahawk toughness even though he is near the end of his career.

Isn’t he a little small for a prototype Hawks back?
5’8” 210# Vs. 6’ 220#

The former is more stout that the latter.

Signing Hyde or Freeman seems to me to be a hedge against further RB injury and the time for recovery of Penny. It is also insurance against neither of Homer or Dallas being good enough to cover for Carson.

Not sure I wouldn't want Beastmode over these two.

There’s definitely a good debate to be had about the utility of different body types.

Just saying the Hawks have an established type and it’s the latter. I blame Rob at Seahawks Draft Blog for changing the way I view personnel fit.

I actually like the move for a little added insurance and a good 3rd down/2 minute offense guy. If there still in the Clowney sweepstakes though i'd rather roll with Homer and Dallas and give a couple extra million to Clowney then sign Freeman.

I'm okay with it. However, I think Homer is going to be better this year than he was last year. Remember, Homer can also pass catch. I really haven't seen too many passes to Freeman or Hyde so I can't comment on that.

But good, or even serviceable, right?
