An absolutely obscene Russell Wilson fact.

So, I was futzing around on Pro Football Reference, and I came across the 2012 draft page. Looking at the comparable numbers, it's no surprise that Russ has over 500 more pass attempts than anyone else from that draft, over 400 more completions, over 6,000 more passing yards, and over 50 more TD passes. Like I said, not surprising. He hasn't missed a game in his career.

So what was obscene? He's 4th in interceptions. 4TH. He has played 28 more games than the nearest, yet is behind 3 other guys.

Russ is elite. Period.

That's so incredibly impressive.

Couple the stats you note with his completion %, completions over 20 yards, and add in his rushing yards/TDs, and you wonder why he's never been a 1st-team all-pro...

The other thing is the #1 and #2 for career approximate value are Wilson and Wagner. Kuechly is close in value to Wagner at #3, but everybody else is way behind.

I agree only the most ignorant of fans can deny that at this point.

Yet Cam "business decision" Newton and Lamar "how do I play football in a playoff game?" Jackson both have MVPs.

We live in a messed-up world.

He's also 4th in rushing yards and 4th in rushing touchdowns.

And the list is not filtered by QBs, so running backs are on the list.

A lot of those would-be interceptions become sacks instead.

I don't care.

Anyone who'd rather have a pick over a sack doesn't understand football.

All depends on what position you play, as a Safety or CB I looked at it as a chance to flip a score and deny another play on a Pick.

Given our ability to sack and give them a third and long and give them a first down on the next play I will take the ball back, this wasn't last year it has been a maddening condition here, much like Holmgren's draw play on third and long.

I obviously meant when your team is on offense, smart ass.
