From Seahawks Twitter

Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse & T Mike Person have been promoted from the practice squad to the active roster. WR Phil Bates signed to practice squad.

Seahawks WR Ben Obomanu has been placed on Reserve/Injured for the remainder of season. CB Danny Gorrer has been released.

More to come I imagine.....

I wondering if he was about to move to another team's roster, so the Seahawks had to bump him or lose him. We also don't know if Thurmond is getting activated. My guess is more action is coming.

According to Eric Williams, WR Jermaine Kearse, a UW and Lakes High of Tacoma product, had been playing well on the #Seahawks scout squad going against No. 1 defense.

He and MRob had wrist injuries coming out of the game and saw specialists yesterday.

it doesn't really matter. Obo's been a complete non-factor this year. This will be his last year with the club IMO.

Sorry about Gorrer, Doc. His number, 29, is up for grabs though.

Kearse stinks!

i thought kearse did a great job in pre-season, made some great catches... i say bring him up and give him and martin a shot... i like them both.. OBO was a no show so far anyways, i doubt he's even on the roster next season...

He's been a factor on special teams...can't overlook that.

Yeah, I guess, he's got a whole 3 tackles. I'm pretty sure we've got guys who can play special teams.

Notice how many injuries since we had the "No one has been injured this year" thread?
That's exactly what I was thinking.

I feel the same way for people that make topics with subjects like "16-0" and "Im gonna say it, SUPERBOWL" during preseason.

More to special teams than tackles stats, especially for a gunner - who absorbs the blocks that frees up others to MAKE tackles.

And if we had better guys for special teams, they would already be playing ahead of him. A huge reason Obo was kept on the roster this season was his experience and ability to play special teams.

I wouldn't discount it. It creates a hole that someone else needs to fill. Not a huge void, but a void nonetheless.

Probably on 3rd and 11.
