First all of the BS calls throughout the wholegame..bears scoring as a result. Of course. Here we are again. Down with the clock dwindling and the opposite crowd rocking the stadium.
Then Wilson leads us down the field like a boss. Tate is there, spinning and winning as usual with his WTF and how the bleep bleep did he get away and still score play. Seems like every game now he has at least one play where he defies physical capabilities. As much as Rice is our home run hitter, Tate has been there for us every win. Another genius draft move that we almost didnt see to fruitition. He scores, and we all go nuts. Then we all think we left way too much time on the clock for the bears.
And as only as the Seahawks can, we allow them to score and tie the game with 24 seconds left to go. Cant blame Sherm, 99 percent of the time he makes that interception, and you know most of us wouldve have tried for it too. Easy to say bat it down, just like we all did with Jennings and GB. But they score and we go to OT.
We all want possesion, but we are Seahawk fans, so we dont get the call. All day its been bouncing the Bears way. How many fumbles did they recover? We cant even get one turnover, yet create three opportunities. Seriously? Except, we do get the ball. OT and we start off with the ball. I'm still amazed. Cursing at the TV, who calls Tails? No one, and when they do, it's always heads. You know, typical Seahawk luck. But we actually get the ball. Wow.
All the excitement is deflated out of Soldier Field. Just like that. The Announcers, in their typical opponent suckfest, rue the fact that Chicago cant get the ball. What does Wilson do? Nothing much, except take the game in his hands, and trusts himself. Tired of losing these late games, all those mistakes made in all these close games. He remembers. But we are Seahawk fans, so we are expecting a turnover or the dreaded 3rd and long where we usually dont covert, during that whole possesion. What do we do? We stuff it down their throats. Wilson burns everyone. The Bears know we are going to run, and those sage veterans of theirs cant do anything about it. Then we score on Rices TD, and cant even enjoy it, because first Rice looks like he is concussed, and then we have that dbag Pereira doing everything he can to negate the TD. The "we all we got, we all we need" rift grows bigger. We leave Soldier Field with the win, no controversies, no scandals. We walk off the field slowly, knowing we TOOK this game, despite the Bears and the ridiculous officiating best efforts.
We should be in every game like this going forward, the Heart Attack Hawks. But the difference is we have a 24 year old rookie who can lead us down the field. There is an element that we have been missing for far too long. Whatever "it" is, we have it.
We are all hunky dory today, but I hope we dont take ANYONE for granted. We had alot of pieces fall our way yesterday, and I hope we can keep it going. Enjoy the week everyone. Everything always is better when we win, but if we should lose, let's not fall apart. Growing Pains will happen, but we are all part of something special this season.
