I'd rather lose him for the first 4 games next season and the team be prepared for it, so I like hearing about this.

I bet thats the point to this, the team needs their starting tandem and having both starters gone for the same games could have a huge impact

The Williams boys in Minnesota kept their appeals going for about 2 years. Who knows, maybe Sherm can do the same.

Same here, I know the chances of him actually beating it would be almost impossible so I was hoping his angle was to postpone it into next year.

More power to him. I know this -- I like our chances a lot better in the 49ers game WITH him than WITHOUT him. What happens with his appeals process could have huge implications.
