Matt Ryan's getting an MRI to check on shoulder injury

Davis Hsu‏@DavisHsuSeattle

Last Name Wilson to Hawaii? RT @AdamSchefter: Matt Ryan will undergo MRI Monday to determine extent of injury to left collarbone/shoulder.

There could be other Seahawks going as well, with the 9ers advancing to the SB

I guess this is all well and good, but its still quite a bit diminished when you're officially a "Pro Bowler" only because players (often multiple players) ahead of you got injured, made it to the Super Bowl, or a combination of both.

Screw the probowl, the all pro team is a bigger deal anyways. Sherm made the 1st team there. :)

He was the 2nd alternate I believe... Rodgers, RG3, Ryan were the 3 "starters" can't remember who 1st alt was, but w/ Bob and Matt both missing the game due to injury Russ gets to go.

He is a reserve and next up. If Ryan doesn't play, and I doubt he will, Wilson gets the invite.

I'm happy about this because it makes up for him missing it due to future superbowls

Wilson is already a serious commodity to the NFL. The league is going to want him there and next year he won't be playing in it anyways. So he might as well play now.

I can't believe the Hawks have a QB THIS good. That pick was a league altering pick, not just a franchise.

Wilson will be the only new Seahawks to the Pro Bowl (Ryan will not play we all know that).

Clemons and Chancellor could have be called but they are injured.
Sherman is 1st alternate but both Tillman and Jennings should travel to Hawaii.

Pro Football Weekly ‏@ProFootballWkly

Mike Smith says #Falcons QB Matt Ryan has a sprained left shoulder. Will not play in Pro Bowl, will not require surgery.

So that SHOULD mean RW to ProBowl!

That might be the only way he gets to take his wife to Hawaii on a mini-vacation!

Won't watch, but it'll help Russell's HOF vote in 17-20 years or so.

Still, it's great to have RW in it regardless of the circumstances. Congrats Mr Wilson!
