  • I bet we take a shot at Wallace, and I think Wallace would love to play here, escpecially with the potential in Russell Wilson, he could be playing with the best QB in the league. I know Wallace is labeled as a cancer, but so was Lynch, and he's turned out to be phenomenal.

  • I would love Wallace, but he really isn't a fit for our "everyone gets a piece of the pie" offense. He is going to want big money, and he is going to want to be the #1 guy.

I would still prefer a young stud in the draft.

This makes no sense. Hes a natural slot receiver and return specialist. We dont need another slot receiver. We dont need another return specialist. Especially for the price tag that will come with him. Tate needs to go back to the slot where he will flourish, and we need to get a #1 who can stretch the field and compliment Rice.

Harvin is a great player, but hes a piece we dont need for the price tag associated. It wouldnt make any sense at all.

That this bet would fit under the Wallace thread

  • I would rather get a guy in the draft as well. I just hope San Fransisco doesn't get Harvin or Austin in the draft.

  • Too much money invested in Rice and Miller to go big on another receiver in free agency.

Plus paying Wallace basically makes it very difficult to re-sign Golden Tate in a year. Almost impossible. Draft is a better option and if you want a Mike Wallace type, just draft Markus Wheaton.

  • I believe that this coming year is the year where we REALLY understand what we have as wide receivers. The playbook is wide open and Russell will have 100% of it absolutely NAILED.

There is not one thing wrong with the Hawks offense. Sure, there could be minor upgrades here or there... but this offense is capable of scoring 30 points on damn near ANY team in the league. I expect that this team will go 12-4 next year on the low end or up to 14-2 on the high end. Hell, 16-0 is a possibility for Russell.

I would rather the Hawks continue to shore up the defensive side of the ball. Quality depth on D will yield dividends over the long season... and for the long haul.

I hope that the Hawks draft defense again this year... except maybe for an offensive lineman to replace Breno. He's a weak link in my mind. And either Moffitt or Sweezy needs to step up and become starting material at RG.

  • Wallace would be a fantastic fit for our offense. Top 5 fastest player in the NFL. Wilson tends to over throw. Can't really overthrow Wallace. Guy will stretch the field, which will allow Rice to get open and Tate to move to the slot and will give him space. We all know what Tate can do with space. And it helps the rushing attack too.

Yeah. If we could get anybody, Wallace would be the guy.

Harvin has no fit on this team. We don't need another slot receiver, we need a speedster that can catch.

  • Pipe dreams. Not this teams MO to bring in high dollar FA. Plus wrapping that much up in a WR is never smart money, there is always value somewhere else at WR.
