2011 Calendar

So I came across a 2011 Seahawks calendar and these were the players:
Jan:Aaron Curry
Feb: David Hawthorne
March: Chris Spencer
April: John Carlson
May: Jordan Babineaux
June: Julius Jones
July: Justin Forsett
Aug: Lofa Tatupu
Sept: Marcus Trufant
Oct: Sean Locklear
Nov: TJ Houshmandzadeh
Dec: Matt Hasselbeck

this was the core of the team? Sheesh. Am I glad its 2013 and not 2011!

Last heard, Hawthorne was doing alright for the Saints. But yeah other than that...yikes.

That had to have been 2010. Housh was only on the team in 09 and he was cut in the pre season of 2010. So for him to be on it in 2011 makes absolutely no sense.

But either way the the roster turnover has been so impressive by Pete and John.

I thought it was odd with some of those players too. I checked my current calendar in my office and October of this year has mike Williams. They must put these together in may of the previous year.

actually it does make sense. They start selling the calendar early in the 2010 season, since the 2010 season carries into early 2011. These calendars are usually shot early to mid off season, so anyone on the roster at that time would be eligible. How they actually select who to put in it, I have no idea, but I'm sure the coaching staff isn't telling the promotions department (hey don't put that guy in the calendar, we might cut him).

I checked my current calendar this morning and I have Ben Obamanu to look forward to during December.
