Got my Seahawks plates!

WOOHOO!!! As I'm sure most of you know, Seattle Seahawk license plates for Washington State became available on January 2nd. I managed to get personalized Seahawk plates with TALONS.

I was in line the 4th for plates and will be getting a set for each of my cars in the next couple of weeks, hopefully.

They're auctioning off #00001, with the proceeds going to A Better Seattle.

I was gonna buy one but my car has been getting messed with lately and already have 2 claims for vandalism/theft. Pretty sure they would get stolen so I decided against it.

Car theft in Washington...amazing it's been rampant for years and no one is cracking down on it.

Interesting! I was told by one of the people working in the Special License Plate Unit that the Seahawks plates will not have stacked letters on the side, and therefore will have seven characters available. (My initial choices assumed stacked letters like all the other specialized plates, and like it shows on the DOL page.)



The stacked AF stands for Air Force. The plate above appears to be a one-of-a-kind.

Got my registration today. Seahawks Background with ZWOLF (German for 12.)

Who's going to get the DOTNET plate?

We just sent off for Seahawks plates for my wife's car. Hopefully have them soon

That's really cool. I'd love to see some pics when you get them on your car.

I was thinking bout some for us here in my state. They dont have them here. So I am thinking USAF Retired...FAN80 as the lettering.

Just got word last night that I was awarded:

That was my second choice. My first choice HWK4LYF must have been taken by somebody else.

Yeah, I am still waiting for my first set of plates on my new car. Cant get personalized ones until they show up. Not telling what I want to get, but it is still available.

Does the 00001 plate really have the A F stacked letters, or is that just a demo?

With the A F it kind of looks like:
