Boy.
Thank goodness we hung on this game.
But man....with this offense....against EITHER SF or Carolina next week; this is the 1st time I am not very confident, home or not.

Percy provided some good plays today, and helped spark the offense. But without him, personally, I'm just not sure.

Face it the entire offense is just window dressing for Marshawn Lynch.

Offense needs to pull itself together. Russell missed a lot of guys today and the WRs need to help him out too.

Agreed. Passing game wasn't very sharp today. The weather didn't help, but no excuses.

The offense has a whole boatload of problems right now, especially in the passing game. Receivers can't get separation on the deep routes, receivers drop passes on the short routes, Wilson refusing to run on the read option, Wilson missing receivers on the short routes, Bevell's schizophrenic playcalling. Whoever wins tomorrow and comes to Seattle next Sunday is going to be a much better defense than New Orleans so if they don't get it together they're gonna get beat.

Losing Harvin may have played a role in the playcalling. They were obviously planning to feature him throughout the game. Had to go back to basics when he went out.

If you actually watched the game, the Seahawks came out ultra conservative in the 2nd half.

You shouldn't have to go back to the basics after losing a guy you've never had all year. it's the 17 th game of the year.

You have to when that player is very unique and requires his own set of plays to capitalize on his talent. Remember, they had to practice those special plays all week because they hadn't run them with Harvim yet.

Carroll just confirmed that the team had to get more conservative when Harvin left the game.

I think Russ needs to keep a few read options. It would give the offense the little bit of trickery it needs. Lbs pause for a moment, safeties back peddle a bit more. Etc

Pass protection sucked and Wilson was throwing low and behind receivers cuz of it.

Did you watch the game? 0 sacks and a RB with 140 yards. The OL was definetly not the problem. Wilson was off and has been for 5 weeks.

carroll confirmed that they played conservative, yeah. but thats no excuse for the fact that we ran the same predictable plays today that we ran week 1. No change. no adjustment. no creativity, and no W next week if Bevell cant figure out a way to get the offense moving with what he has (THE PLAYCALLING WAS BETTER WITH HARVIN IN... ACKNOWLEDGED). A good o coordinator can adjust to A - the players he has available and B - how the opposing defense is playing you. bevell does neither. look at what NE has done all year. their '#1' wr was gimpy 90% of the year and the rest of the guys are #2's at best. But they threaten you regardless. they adjust and can make you pay for mistakes with their play calling. If your receivers cant get separation you get it for them with scheme. bevell is a joke. Said it after the houston game and as happy as i am that they won today i'm equally as pissed knowing that as good as this team is, as special a year as it has been, its all liable to be lost because our o coordinator cant design his way out of a paper bag.

If the entire passing game goes to crap because harvin goes out, god forbid lynch gets hurt. Bevell's liable to strip the plays down to kneel, kneel, kneel, punt... you know, to play it 'safe and conservative' because the opposing D is sooooo dangerous.
