They played a hell of a game. They fought through bad calls and injuries to very nearly comeback despite 2 turnovers in the fourth quarter (heading into the final drive). I said going into the game that whichever team won this game deserved to be in the Super Bowl and SF was a very worthy opponent. Had we lost I would have been frustrated, but not bitter. Very different than last year.

I concur with this. They battled like mad and it was refreshing to see a game between us without the scrums after every play. They have hone up in my estimation so much today.

Genuinely. Thank you San Fran. Without you, we wouldnt be the team we are today.

You're right Bobby, they played the way they needed to.

I think we are playing much to much "not to lose" but its worked our so far.

Jesus christ they are a god damn great football team. I was thinking, we might have blown out any other team today.

Awesome team. Lets all register our positive thoughts for Bowman and Iupati. Warriors don't deserve to go out like that.

Feel bad for their injured guys...damn bad looking injuries! But damn great team and the war will rage on for years to come...hopefully! Hats off to them for gettting to 3 of these in a row...can't dispute that!! Would we of wanted to face another team? One of the best games in recent memory!

Navarro Bowman is easily my favorite Niner. Tough as nails hanging on to that INTERCEPTION. I'm glad we fumbled and made that missed call a nonfactor.

Kaepernick played extremely well, then he lost it, then amazingly he gained it back.

Still a douche, but complete respect for his ability.

That might have been the best football game i've ever watched, and I hated every second of it.

Loathe the 9ers more than anything but this describes my feelings...

Exactly how I feel GCrow. Mad props to the niners. They played tough as all get out.

As a Niner fan...I'm over this loss already. This is just a game. A win would've been great, but what happened happened.

What I'm not over: a true classy warrior going down with a gruesome injury....great guy on and off the field, quiet leader. Preliminary reports says torn ACL.

Thanks for this respect thread.

This exactly. That game was excruciating.

This is F'n stupid.

The OP is usually one of the first to start talking crap about the Seahawks failures after games, and now he is one of the first to put up a respect the 49ers?

How about you actually respect the Seahawks?

Won't start a new thread, but props to the Seahawks for getting the job done. This loss is hard to swallow but the loss of Bowman probably hurts more.

Hell of a game, hard fought game.

And here we were so concerned about stopping Gore. Who cares? CK had all the yards. At least Manning doesn't run!
