SB uniforms??

So will we be wearing home blues or road whites? How is that determined? I hope blues....

Don't know how they'll determine the home/road team, but I hope we're the road team because I want to see us in whites.

I say they let both teams wear their vintage 80s gear. Turn it into one for the ages...

How do they determine who is the home team vs the visiting team?

Not so sure about that. Seahawks wore home team colors in SBXL played in 2006.

Broncos chose to wear their orange threads.

The AFC is the designated "home" team on even years because FOX broadcasts the SB on those years (and the NFC is thus the 'road' team). The reverse is true for odd years.

The reason why we wore our home uniforms in 2006 is because the Steelers insisted on wearing their whites and has the 'home' team, they got the choice.

The Steelers wore their away unis by choice. Since they made it to SB XL by winning on the road, they wanted to keep the "Road Warrior" mentality.

I myself would love to see the Wolf Greys. I love that uni and we're undefeated while wearing them!

I don't think the regular season alternative jersey rules apply to the post season, so the Wolf grey's may be an option. For me, though, the above combo is our best road uni.

Dear God, please no white on white. Not only don't they look as good but we seem to lose more frequently in them.

I was just thinking didn't donkeyface get whupped/Craig Morton also -wearing orange crush unis ..yeah keep that streak going..Make it 5 times

It will either be white on blue or the greys. We have some mojo going with the white on blue combo plus it provides good contrast, especially if the weather is crappy.

I could see the greys, though.

Pissburgh was the #6 seed in the 2005 playoffs.
....they were "road warriors" for 3 games leading up to SBXL....
So THEY decided to stay in their "whites" to continue their "mojo" in the playoff run.....

(and as we all know, they could've wore polka-dots.....it was the refs who switched color jerseys & wore black & urine that day.......)
