Remember when Pete first came to Seattle and started purging the roster? He said in pressers back then that it was all the start of a 4 year plan to bring a ring to Seattle in 4 years time. Well guess what? This is year #4 and win or lose, he got us in position to get that ring in the biggest game of all.

Pete has been straight-forward with us from day one, and I am excited to see where we continue to go under his leadership!

GO HAWKS!!!! Superbowl here we come!

It was a begrudging '4-year plan' for Pete because that's what Schneider kept telling him. Pete has never been about that. His plan has always been to become competitive and start winning it all as soon as possible. He has repeated that in several interviews saying he wanted to started kicking butt in year one. Heck, we were a hair away from going to the NFCC game in year 3 and won a playoff game in year 2. All of this after an almost wholesale roster turnover. How crazy is that?! :)

Hell, we weren't that far from the NFCCG in year 1!

The 4 year plan was always in reference to the actual player acquisition and business model for it, not the player development. In fact, I still contend that the shitty turf at Fed Ex field is the only reason we didn't play the Niners for the rights to last year's SB. Which would have made it a 3 year plan.
