"putrid seattle offense"
"pedestrian"
"desperate need of help"
Look our offense is not going to put up 40 points, they just aren't. But they just put up 23 on the niners.
Are they a top 5 offense, no, top 10, probably not, but by those words you'd think they're the jets

They're actually the 7th best offense in DVOA. But of course you're right. Bleacher Report is a useless pile of garbage.

Actually Sando had something interesting on this on Kiro this afternoon. There have been 352 offenses and defenses in the NFL since 2002 (one per year per team). The Denver offense of 2013 ranks number one (no suprise there) and the Seattle defense ranks number 7 (no suprise there either). [All by pts scored/allowed]

However, if you look at the other side of both teams you find something interesting. The much maligned 2013 Seattle offense ranks about 60 or so. The 2013 Denver defense? About 310 or so!

4TH RUSHING
31st in attempts (right next to other contender san fran)
its like BR isn't allowed to use stats and numbers or something

That was weird, he would give us a compliment and than refute that positive comment with a negative one right after it. Sure Russell hasn't been great lately, but he looked better against a very tough Niners D. Lets just hope he continues his upward trajectory come next Sunday.

that is skewed by some insanely good performances, in terms of consistency week to week they're above average and maybe top 10.
They played some really good defenses.
SF 3 times NO twice CAR ARI twice
all 4 are top 7 I believe

this might be a new low, on the other hand hard to top the article that said McCoy would've been the #1 TE over Miller if he didn't get hurt

If you click on a bleacher report link and end up with brain cells dribbling down your chin, it's your own damn fault.

Bleacher report is for the most part just fans who happen to blog a lot.

There are a few legitimate writers and analysts there that they tacked on when they became CNN's sports affiliate.

For a while after they transitioned to CNN it was getting much better but lately it seems like they saturated the site with idiots once again and it's now pointless and unreadable.

I understand that, that's why I said he looked good against a great Niners D.

true, but while it is extreme, this represents the national story. People don't understand you can still win with a ball control offense. People think if u aren't throwing for 400 your offense stinks.
I think they'll be surprised come the second.
For the last 2 games I've predicted 23-19, and 17-16, in this game I'll probably predict 28-27, after that 2nd half I feel really good about the offense I think our offense has a chance to shut everyone up

Bleacher Report is not a trusted brand; it's business model that puts raw metrics over content. They exist for clicks, lists, and random opinions while only occasionally proffering anything resembling insight or research. Their MO? Running a needle-y "special contribution" about the "Most Overrated NFL Players" or "Team Cheerleaders Ranked" to generate fan churn. 32 teams = 34 or 35 clicks. It's a sports Buzzfeed. CNN needed the ADD youth market, and they grabbed the numbers BR was giving them.

Their revenue game is up tight, though.

Agree and disagree. Our offense probably won't hang 40 on a great D, but against a very 'pedestrian' one like that of the Broncos, they will deliver that if they need to. There hasn't been a single game this year, even in the ones we lost, that we needed 40 points from the O, so most of the time you'll never see that many points in the final score unless the D is producing them. If the Bronco's break into the 40's in this one, so will we.

What a complete load of nonsense that video was.

Putrid offense? 7th in DVOA.

Bleacher Report strikes again.
