Yup, rookie then DE Bruce Irvin was the first man in the NFL to get a lick on Peyton wearing his pretty Orange jersey in Preseason 2012.

Peyton got mowed over playing us this year too when Montee Ball blew a protection

As Peyton was going down all you could hear him say was "not the neck, please not the neck".

THAT hit will get a roughing call this week. Bank on it. I'm not as worried about the Broncos as I am the refs.

That's the point; great legal hit delivered by Wags but it might look "bad" to the zebras. Guess I'm a little gun shy from *XL.

I hear you on the gun shy thing. But I agree with the guy up thread. It'd be worth the 15 yards and a first to get a hit like that on PM. It'd probably give him PMS for the next couple of plays.

I'm afraid people are correct here when they say that hit gets called in the SB.

It's a tragedy, because if you watch closely, the hit begins pretty simultaneously with the ball leaving Peyton's fingertips.

Having watched football for awhile now, that to me is something that is only beginning to be called in the last 2-3 years even though on paper it's legal.
