Media week was more fun in 2006.

Then it was new and exciting and people were forced to pay attention to, and cover, our team.

Now, it's just irritating. We have the same "the other team's player deserves it!" crap except replacing Bettis with Manning, only now, I have access to better writers who actually talk about the game with intelligence and insightful analysis (everyone at Field Gulls and the Seahawks Draft Blog, Barnwell and Mays, the folks at Football Outsiders and Pro Football Focus). This makes the braying of the jackasses even worse.

This bye week sucks. I wish they had just played the game yesterday and gotten it over with.
