'Make sure we put him down'

This was in response to a hypothetical question. 'If you were a DB what would you tell the other DBs?

This all began on PFT when they were talking about Welkers concussions and the fact that the Saints targeted Percy. They mentioned that it would be a lot harder for Peyton to exploit match ups without Wes Welker in there.

I would support legal but body-crunching hits on Welker. If the Saints can get away with it on Percy...........

Let Wes' ribs meet Kam's shoulder a couple times and he'll be begging his way out of the game to avoid a career ender

I want us to hit everyone hard. I don't want us doing headhunting crap to any Bronco like the Saints did to Percy, though.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

That would be fantastic if we are hitting them so hard the ball just keeps popping out all day. Could be a factor in that weather especially. They run a lot of precision stuff where they barely squeeze in the throws, I could see them taking some monster hits which I would enjoy.

Monster hits are the unavoidable consequence of trying to exploit the middle of the field with short to intermediate crossing routes.

It's just a matter of time.

KA-BOOM!!

That was the Patriot's strategy against the greatest show on turf in SB36. No one gave the Pats a chance, and they just put an extra DB in there, let the Rams receivers get their catches, and then made them pay. They won that game, if you recall.
