What a hit!

It may have been because of this hit that MRob reacted as strongly as he did last year when the Bears DB went down after their collision. Sure, the sport is a violent game but coming close to paralyzing someone would have to eat at you a little. Even Jack Tatum was thought to be remorseful about Daryl Stingley's paralysis from his vicious hit back in the day. Both men died without being able to completely clear the air on that event, from what I remember.

I remember Coach Pete posted this video, then was reminded the player suffered a career ending injury behind the hit. He took down the tweet and apologized.

Would that hit be illegal today? I mean, he was out of the pocket and had the ball. Is that pretty much the new RB rule?
