Anyone feel like predicting Seahawks first three offensive plays?

I call

1 - Lynch Run up the middle little towards the right
2 - RW designed run. Probably pistol formation maybe fake Harvin on it
3 - Play action Deep ball

Everybody keeps talking about ball control. This is a game you win like the Saints did - run an onside kick when you come out after halftime. You come out and punch Denver in the mouth. If those fail well this team has shown that it can overcome anything.

I'd like the first play to be a pump fake screen to Percy in the slot, and then a long pass downfield to Golden or Doug.

You KNOW the Denver DB's are going to be freaking out the first series seeing Percy on the field, which means they'll be most susceptible to biting on a fake.

1st play - play action pass to Doug Baldwin
2nd play - screen pass to Tate
3rd play - Lynch run for a TD.

I would like to see a RO keeper in the first series to keep the Denver DE's thinking the remainder of the game.

That didn't work out too well against SF.

2nd play - I wish. I've been hoping Russ would get some designed run plays in both playoff games, but they have been a rare sight indeed.

As much as we would like to get the running game pounding on Denver's defence, I wonder if our coaching staff takes a look at Denver and attacks their greatest weekness, their pass defence. There would be a delicious irony in beating the Broncos in just the way that pundits are saying the Broncos will beat us. So with that in mind...

1) Russ rolls right, throws to Tate for 9
2) Lynch up the middle, 5 yards, first down
3) Russ runs left, no read options just a designed run. 15 yard gain!

Please Bevell tell us you've been saving some stuff like this for the Superbowl

1. That wasn't a RO keeper that was a bootleg. Pass intended to the TE.
2. Because a play doesn't work once you shouldn't ever run it?

Right.....

Right.....

Why didn't Russell throw it to Miller? Once Smith broke towards Russell Miller was wide open on that play.

Sometimes I think Russell get's tunnel vision downfield and misses open receivers underneath. I love that he's always looking for the big play, but you also have to take the open play and not hold onto the ball.

The first play against SF could have been a 10 yard gain if Russ has just took off running. He rolls left and visibly slows down to looks for the pass, which was the original call. Only problem was Smith beating his block (Okung I think). Probably though if Russ scrambles faster then Smith runs past him and it's all green ahead

LOL. I like how you are thinking but I would prefer a fumble recovery as the 3rd play. You know in Denver redzone :)

Several of us hope for a nice PA or RW run

I am in the one-man camp that think we have held back. Now we unleash. I don't think we held back in the miners game but up to that point. Then against the miners these types if plays weren't a good fit but they are against Denver

I'm pretty sure Russell wanted to throw it to Kellen Davis but he never turned around, thus Aldon Smith was able to close down on him and sack/strip him.

First play will be a pass. I would bet $50 bucks on it.

If we receive the kick, I think we will be more conservative than if we take possession after forcing a Bronco punt. Just based on nervous energy. So if we receive...run, run, pass wouldn't shock me. If we have the ball second, I think Bevell will be more inclined to pass, run, pass (or a similar combination.. dependent on down and distance).

I badly want to open with our D on the field, getting the kick to start the 3rd.

Pass, Pass, and more passing. (Look up the secondary / big play stats on Denver. There one weakness on offense is their pass defending, especially big plays).

If we are 3 or more points ahead we will run, run, pass.
