This defense is one of the best in the HISTORY of the NFL

We just held the greatest regular season offense in history to 8, that's freakin' EIGHT lousy points in the Super Bowl! This defense ranks right there with the '85 Bears, 2000 Ravens, Monsters of the Midway, 60s Packers, 70s Steelers, etc. Absolutely incredible.

Add the 2002 Buccaneers to that list as well, funny enough is that was the last time we saw the #1 defense go against the #1 offense in the Super Bowl with very similar results to this game.

You know what the crazy thing is, if not for a couple of penalties on those first 2 drives the score could easily have been 51-8.

A single touchdown given up in the Super Bowl to the team that just broke the all-time points record in the regular season. Yes, we are legitimately in the conversation for the best defense ever to take the field.
