Not only did the Seahawks have a target on their back all year, they played one of the toughest schedules - regular and postseason - imaginable. They played in the toughest division in the league, where three teams had double digit wins, and the last team in the league was one loss from being .500. Then in the playoffs, they had to play one of the toughest #6 matchups in the league with New Orleans - a team which could have easily been the #2 team. They then had to defeat a bitter division rival whom many thought was at worst the #2 or #3 team in the league. They then had to face the #1 AFC team, one that was the league's all-time record-setting offensive juggernaut, led by a sure-fire first ballot Hall of Fame quarterback and a bevy of receivers considered some of the best in the league.
The way they won this championship, the intense schedule they played, the hard teams they beat, and the way they dominated the best the AFC had to offer, leaves absolutely zero doubt as to who the best team in the league is this year.
Leave no doubt. Well, that's exactly what they did. No doubt whatsoever. Indisputable SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS.
