Say, how 'bout some Russell love? I have heard and read tons of good stuff about our defense, all very deserving mind you, they were awesome. But after his first pass, a bad one probably due to nerves, Russ was spot on the rest of the game. And I heard he had the ninth highest quarterback rating in Superbowl history. Think of it, 96 quarterback ratings from guys who got their team to the Superb Owl and Russ, in just his second year, was ninth! Freakin' awesome.
The other thing: what ever happened to that moron who bet the millions on the Donkeys? (I had heard two bets, $9 million at one set of odds, $2 more at slightly different odds.) You would have thought some enterprising reporter would follow up, even if only to get a "no comment". And out of all the great pics of the game, can you imaging the look on his face when he realizes he's going to lose?
