Congratulations to the NFL Champion Seahawks - you had a terrific season and have a beast of a team that will continue to compete at the highest level for a number of years. Enjoy your off season, everything changes for you now. You are champions - your team, your city, your fanbase - all champions. No matter what anyone says, ever, you have this championship to throw back at them (even 20 years from now it still counts ;-) Iron sharpens iron and running the gauntlet of the NFC West will only make our respective teams stronger. Looking forward to a brutal rivalry and another shot at competing for the title next year.

Very good performance. It just shows what a great defense can do against any offense. Though there is no award for runner up, we definitely had a better game in the NFCCG so I agree with Sherman's comments.

All 2 weeks leading up to the Super Bowl, I kept saying that people are sleeping on the gulf of talent (on defense especially) between the NFC and AFC. The Hawks played nothing but top 10 defenses the previous 2 months, where as Denver played 2 top 10 defenses all year. The Hawks were 100 times more battle tested than Denver was. Playing in the NFC West alone was more of a test than anything Denver did all season long. As much as we all hate each other at times, thanks to the 49ers, Cardinals, and Rams for helping getting us ready for this moment of glory.

Nice post. We have to worry about the Rams too, don't they have like 3 1st rounders this year? Eventually those will pay off.

Thanks, Man! Your team gave us the final gauntlet made me think "how in the world can Denver beat us?" You guys have a battle-tested offense with nearly as many weapons and a D that's clearly better that Denver's. I recon the Niners and Cards would have beat the Donkos in similar fashion, that's got to be sticking in some of y'all's craw right now! I just thought funny that all of the 'experts' chose to focus on our D and whether it could stop their highly-vaunted O, when they should at least mentioned Denvers not having the LB corps to contain Russell Wilson.
