Is the NFL changing?

A couple years ago I made a post about the NFL and how it appears to go in cycles. Offensives dominate for a couple years than defenses adjust and dominate until the offenses can adjust back.

Are we about to enter an era dominated by defenses? IMO days of the teams with the elite QB and mediocre (usually terrible) defenses winning super bowls is over for awhile. Rodgers, Brady, Ryan, Rivers, Manning, and Luck aren't going anywhere until their team significantly improves their defense.

The super bowl proved one thing. Denver's style of offense is antiqued. It is a west coast offense and good defenses know exactly how to stop a WCO.
