Was browsing NFL.com and came across there free agent tracker:
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000316567/article/2014-nfl-free-agents-position

Thats when I saw this...

Quarterbacks

Derek Anderson, Carolina Panthers
Matt Cassel, Minnesota Vikings
Jimmy Clausen, Carolina Panthers
Kellen Clemens, St. Louis Rams
*Matt Flynn, Green Bay Packers
Josh Freeman, Minnesota Vikings
David Garrard, New York Jets
Rex Grossman, Washington Redskins
Chad Henne, Jacksonville Jaguars
Shaun Hill, Detroit Lions
*Tarvaris Jackson, Seattle Seahawks
*Jon Kitna, Dallas Cowboys
Josh McCown, Chicago Bears
Luke McCown, New Orleans Saints
Colt McCoy, San Francisco 49ers
Dan Orlovsky, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Curtis Painter, New York Giants
Jordan Palmer, Chicago Bears
*Brady Quinn, St. Louis Rams
Rusty Smith, Tennessee Titans
Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles
*Seneca Wallace, Green Bay Packers
*Charlie Whitehurst, San Diego Chargers

I know Kitna was a long time ago, but it still proves my point. We are so lucky to have finally found Russel, without that 3rd round pick, we would not be Super Bowl Champions :229031_cheers: . Look at that list, I put *'s next to ex-seahawks. The point is without #3 we would be looking at this list, and the draft...Wondering...waiting..crying out.

"WHEN GOD...WHEN!?"

As a fanbase we can take pride in the fact that we have our franchise QB for the next decade+, and the next generation of little 12's are going to grow up watching a winning franchise...lucky little buggers!

Only waited 36 seasons for Russ. Had an inkling after the NE game last year and knew for sure after the Bears game last year he was "the one". And best of all, he's still getting better.

Best quote of the Lewin piece: You don't want to be compared to Dan McGwire.

C-boom actually came back and ate crow right after the Super Bowl. Never thought I'd see the day. One good turn deserves another, so I removed the misguided statement he made about Wilson in 2012 from my Signature.

Well, Lewin had it right after all. http://www.footballoutsiders.com/nfl-dr ... ecast-2012

I still enjoy reading that article.

"BS" popped into my head when I read the comment about RW leading the nation in batted balls, but it was nice to see several commenters quickly shoot that lie down.
Fun read; thanks for posting it.

You mean like the batted balls Peyton Manning had in the SuperB Owl? :p
