I think NE is the undisputed best team of the last decade. 9 playoff appearances, all by way of winning their division is amazing.

Tough not to put Pittsburgh ahead of Seattle as well. Better overall record & 2 SB wins (3 appearances).

I'd put Indy ahead too. 1 SB win in 2 appearances, just like Seattle, but they went to the playoffs 9 times.

Then the Giants have the 2 rings, so kind of have to put them ahead of Seattle, despite having the weaker overall resume.

I'd put Seattle just ahead of Baltimore & Green Bay, due to the fact hey have more division championships and have the extra SB appearance.

Overall, the 5th best franchise in football over the last decade? Overall, pretty darn impressive given the decades preceding Paul Allen's ownership of the team.

9 years from now I see people looking back at that decade and seeing us #1. We are just getting started.

Perhaps, although the '04-'07 run was also an impressive one, it just lacked a SB win.

What really kills the Hawks in these comparisons are the '08 & '09 seasons. Really horrible seasons like that back to back is what Pittsburgh, Indy & NYG have been able to avoid.

It will be interesting to watch. The NFCW is going to be insane. I have a feeling avoiding injuries will be extremely difficult in this division over the next several years.

2002 and the NFC switch was a Reboot for the franchise in many ways.

Love the ride thus far.

Basically our biggest screw up was (obviously) hiring Jim Mora.

I cant wait see what that list looks like 2013-2023

Going with the OP formula, the next one will be 2014-2023. You suggested 11 years.

Then again, you can do whatever analysis of data you desire. :D
