Joe's got something crazy going on with that hair, man. Looked like Travolta in Greese...

Russell did get that "go hawks" in there. Adda boy!

He's freaky sneaky and quick with that too 8) He slips it in there just as the last word is spoken, so it's hard to edit out.

Wow, Russell handled that well because that was hard to watch with those idiots... also, could there have been a worse bunch of junior league nonsensical graphics and bugs (or what ever they call those) flashing on the screen during that?? What like half a dozen or more goofyass references to the Kingdome... apparently they haven't been to Seattle for awhile.

I hope he washed up after leaving that studio.

Knew there would be unrelated comment bashing the network.

I wouldn't have even noticed if it hadn't been for this overreaction post.

I noticed. And it hurt, a lot. I happen to like that Maddow fella.

I can't stand the host. Russell is a robot. I want to have a daughter and him marry her.

At the risk of opening a non-sports discussion - it is directly referenced in the linked article's title, after all - I'm glad that Russell is open-minded enough to embrace athletes that don't necessarily share his own proclivities. A real leader can take disparate people and form a championship unit. Like him or not, Phil Jackson did that here in Chicago and in LA. Pete Carroll and John Schneider did it in Seattle (talk about a team of oddballs and castaways!).

When I hear NFL athletes or coaches openly saying things like "gay people would be a distraction on our team," I only think "that man's not a leader. That's a team mindset that's destined to fail."

So he pulled off successful interviews on both MSNBC and Fox News in the same morning?.. Politics is definitely in the guy's future after football.

I think it's the new haircut making him look fat.

Either that, or Russ is on the same off season diet plan as Jesus Montero.
