At risk of being melodramatic, how has your life as a diehard Seahawks fan changed since the Seahawks won the Super Bowl? How others treat you that have known you perhaps for years being a diehard before it was cool, how it's changed your mental state in relation to the team, etc, etc. Just curious.

Haven't stopped smiling since. Loving the fact that I never have to hear this no ring crap again.
Also, knowing that the Niners likely would have smoked the Bronco's as well, but Krapsondick choked again, makes it even better.

Food tastes better, the air smells crisper, I get more compliments on my tight ass, the wife can't keep her hands off of me, animals follow me around just to bask in the awesomeness of my aura.

I used to get it bad for being a Hawks fan in Toronto from friends and family, but this year they hate to admit they are a great team with a great future.

If I'm having a bad day I just think about the game and I'm instantly in a great mood again and the permagrin returns. Visa loves me as I bought a ton of Super Bowl champions swag.

Watching the whiner trolls spin themselves into oblivion is especially delicious as they are having trouble dealing with their arch rivals raise the Lombardi as their team failed at the same game last year, and them spinning like a top over the d-Baugh fiasco.

All I have to do to the cowboy fan at work who was always gloating about 20-40 year old trophys was give him the finger (the number 1 finger, not the up yours jesture) to shut him up.

To steal from Hawk45, the Super Bowl is football porn.

As for how things have changed, I am not stressing about impending free agency and who we might lose, sign etc. Nor am I locked on to the draft, etc. I'm relaxed yet hopeful for next year but fully intend to enjoy the championship until September 4th. That doesn't mean I'm not interested or watching or whatever, just not stressing/hyped about rosterbation this offseason, that's all.

I now rarely have to hear/read anyone say that Pete Carroll is overrated, that he only won at USC because of the talent they had, that he "can't win the big one without Norm Chow" or that he's only good as a college coach, etc.

Alas, there are still those who refer to him as "Pete the Cheat." Morons.

Glad I am not the only one. I have watched the NFL Films highlights from the Superbowl approximately 100 times.
It will NEVER get old.
