I get the weird feeling we have a trade in the works with Johnson. Not sure why, just the 2nd round tender really threw me for a loop. I feel like we might trade him come draft day. Love the Jeanpierre signing. He's a solid back up center.

Didn't want Jacksonville to sign him  - also he isn't going to start here so a starting position elsewhere would be mighty attractive.

That's good news. LJP looked better than hurt Unger last year when he played imo. Great depth

Well, if they actually stick around, it's good depth. Good to see this.

So, for Johnson, is this him signing the tender, or is it a "real" extension?

Saw this on my phone from the Seahawks app while I was out running errands at lunch. Great to hear some news.

Can a mod or the OP do me a favor though and for Pete's sake (see that works because pete's our coach and it's a saying) can we fix the subject to read that we RE-SIGNED the players instead of it saying that they resigned their positions and are no longer with us.

So far the news reports aren't very clear about this but I suppose we can hope. Perhaps less money was taken in return for a guaranteed/partially guaranteed contract?

So, wait – did they resign or re-sign? I truly don't know how to feel right now.

These are not tender signings, these are extensions.

A source has said it's for more than the minimum but less than 1m per.

Wow, I thought JeanPierre would have a shot to start on another team. He's a solid backup.
