He could put up crazy stats there. Stafford throwing 650 times and Megatron across from him.

Lions seem to be showing a lot of interest over the last few hours. They need a #2 WR badly. I think Tate may end up there. Has to be enticing to play opposite Calvin Johnson in that pass-first offense.

Ahh yes, the Seahawks to Lions connection. How retro... and he'd play Green Bay twice a year.

He would flourish in that offense, with an elite QB (second best in the NFC behind Rodgers) and the league's best wideout on the other side.

Going from the leagues most run-heavy team to the most pass-heavy team would be interesting.

He will take it if the money is there. He has to. Playing in that offense, opposite the best WR in the game. That would be a good fit for Golden.

Pssshhh. Stafford regularly over throws Megatron and Durham as it it's. They're both HUGE.

Tate would get murdered there.

Good, hopefully the Lions will make there offer quickly so that he can then bring it back to Seattle, apply the discount, and re-sign.

Yep, just saw this on Twitter/Fb. He'd do great in a pass first O. It would be tough to see him leave though. I love GT.

Guys, the Lions offense is changing dramatically. The pass-happy days of OC Scott Linehan are over. Linehan is in Dallas now and Jim Caldwell is implementing a much more run-heavy attack....a big reason why re-signing RB Joique Bell was a priority for the Lions.

"The things we want to make certain we do, when we talk about how we win football games, No. 1, we want to make sure we control the line of scrimmage," Caldwell said. "I think offensively you need a team that can run the ball."

This would be a career enhancing move stat wise but come on Golden keep the band together. The Lions are a decades long exercise in frustration.

Wow Mitch Levy on KJR totally called this like a month ago. Makes perfect sense. I'm sure he'd love to see what he can do in an offense that chucks it constantly.

I bet he loves the idea of playing GB twice a year too lol. Would suck to lose him.

You would put Stafford ahead of Brees? I would even put RW or Cam above Stafford. All he has to do is throw it up for grabs and let Calvin go get it.
