Seahawks have Harvin and Baldwin available to return kick plus Kearse as a back-up.

But with Tate going to Detriot, my preferred options would be:

A. Trade Robert Turbin to Tenneesee for Leon Washington + swapping 4th round picks.
B. Sign Devin Hester or Trindon Holiday to like 2 mil per
C. Look For An Inside Contributor:
Lane, Michael, perhaps Kearse or Baldwin, or Arceto Clark or Phil Bates

While i understand the nostalgia for Leon Washington, that ship has sailed and the the team legitimately likes Turbin especially his blocking ability.
Hester doesn't fit anywhere on the roster and we need duel contributors at WR since we carry so many RB's.

It's a deep receiver draft. Expect one to be signed (or perhaps another corner) and compete with those on the roster.

Hester would obviously be nice if this team wasn't so deep. But this team is far too deep to carry someone with only one job; I'd imagine that it'll have to be someone from another position group taking on the job.

Turbin for Leon Washington? We get it, he was good while he was here but clearly this team is not interested in jettisoning young talent they like for veterans on their last legs.

I'm still enamored with Jacoby Ford's speed. But I think they could give Lockette a try back there on punts, Harvin on kickoffs?

Im hoping Michael gets a shot. So explosive. Good chance to get him on the field, assuming he can track and catch/secure punts.

Hester might be a decent nickle back and PR/KR guy. Something to consider.

Both of these suggestions are beyond comical.

COLLEGE:
A wide receiver and return specialist for the Wildcats, finished 2010 with 23 receptions for 262 yards and one touchdown, while averaging 11.4 yards per catch. As a returner, averaged 24 yards per punt return, with a long of 49 yards. Started his career in track & field at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama, before transferring to Fort Valley State in 2008 to play football. There, he caught 19 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns. Also returned eight kickoffs for 222 yards and a score.

We aren't exactly up the creek as far as punt return options.

washington just resigned yesterday with tennessee not sure it would make sense to then trade for him, if we wanted him he could have been had.

Assuming the punt returner is already on the team or will be drafted.

Least of our worries at this moment in time.

I think we get after securing the players from scrimmage first, then build ST from them.

$2M for Hester? He literally wouldn't do anything but return punts. Wouldn't even be good depth for WR or CB.
