Do the Pats and NYG have the top CB tandems in the league?

I'm hoping this was just an oversight as you would think Sherman/Maxwell would be in the conversation.

"By signing former New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie to a one-year deal, the Cardinals instantly upgraded their secondary. With Cromartie expected to play across from Patrick Peterson, Arizona can make a case for having one of the best corner tandems in the league, alongside the New England Patriots and the New York Giants."

Sherman + an armless homeless man would probably be one of the best cornerback tandems in the NFL with the LOB behind them.

Maxwell has not played a full season and has Earl Thomas behind him, he isn't going to get much respect. With that said no corner has looked bad with Earl Thomas behind them with the hawks.

So this Josh guy is crowning CB tandems before they even play together in their new systems for their new teams and don't mention the tandem that just completely shutdown the best passing offense ever playing in their most important game of the season. Alrighty then.

Maxwell had the kind of year Sherman had two seasons ago. Dude is money.

Guys articles are all about AZ. My guess is that it's an intentional omission.

Hahaha common. He was the 108th ranked CB according to PFF (out of 109) last year midway through the season. Really? I mean yes he could bounce back from a 'bad' year but the odds are way stacked against him.

Good. More fuel to the fire. Sherm and Max will feed off it.

LOL, not even close. Maxwell was playing better than Browner and Thurmond. Suddenly other teams get our backups and it's a huge upgrade over ours? LOL.

Btw, sometimes it's frustrating reading those article comments by idiots who know nothing about our team.

What's wrong with this thinking? It makes sense. The giants and pAts sign the backup hawks corners and are now Better than the hawks. Lol

When East Coast or Media Favorite teams get players they are suddenly better overnight. If Russell Wilson was traded to the Jets tomorrow he would be crowned the greatest QB since Joe Montana.

Or, it could just be assumed that the Hawks corners are the best so no need to include them in the article. The other tandems are "some of the best".
