Not only that, the incident reportedly happened at Lockette's apartment in Miami

and that article explains why you can hit co-workers with bottles, drink and drive, apparently murder someone and it will be fine in the 49ers book.

If he's convicted I hope Carroll has the guts to let Lockette go. If you're to comPETE it should also extend to offseason actions as one of his cornerstone rules is protecting the team.
