I am not sure how many of you went to the Supercross race on Saturday at the CLink but if you did you were awarded with some pretty sick race gear. First, Ryan Villopoto, a guy I grew up racing with and is from Poulsbo, did his introduction lap with a custom Hawks jersey that he gave to a little kid in the stands.

Then, his gear was Seahawks blue and green for the race. Also, another prominent ride, James Stewart had a pre-race interview during which he discussed hanging out with 'a great group of guys' from the team. He rocked some badass Hawks gear as well.

I guess a few of the players were in Paul Allen's suite as well.

I suppose rather than poking fun at the horrible picture quality you should probably be congratulated for figuring out how to take a picture with a potato.

I watched part of this on FS1. Another rider there from Bonney Lake, Tevin Tapia, had his helmet done up to look like a Seahawks helmet.

Oh nice I didn't notice that...one of the drawbacks of watching something live. There were quite a few local guys. The Washougal races are the best; tons of local privateers.

Now that I'm home and not behind my work's firewall, I can find a pic of Tapia's helmet.

Been really fun there the last two years. Great show and good weather. Kid was asking about the Seahawks helmet and I never caught how cool it looked.

Those things are huge dollars though and the kids grow out of them quickly. I suppose that it would be worth it for me to own one for the 5 times a year I let my kid and his friends embarrass me.
