IIRC weren't we Number 1 or 2 at the beginning of 2013? I wonder how many times the Number 1
at the beginning of the season went on to win the SB.

Any one have any info on that. Just curious.

NFL.com had the 49ers ranked No. 1 in their power rankings in Week 1 and 2. Then they smartly moved the Seahawks to No. 1 after their 29-3 blowout win.
