"It absolutely exists -- it helps us," Carroll said, with a little defiance. "To play the Packers on Thursday night to open the season, that helps us. We have to focus with every challenge we get. The bigger, the better. The more hyped, the better. We keep doing what we're doing, we'll be in more of those situations -- so the more of it, the better. Tough matchups on the road, high-profile games ... we want that, we feed off that, we should be able to develop the discipline to deal with that."

PC is so great. He never changes. No wonder the players are so confident. He has no hesitation in showing his confidence for them.

Now that he has proven his way works, the players trust him even more. It will show on the new players because the vets won't allow anything but full dedication.

Pete Carroll....I just love that man. He's really hasn't changed a lick in his tenure here, same dude who came in and had to deal with a travesty of a roster and a legion of doubters and naysayers. Same attitude, new context. :)

Not saying it with any arrogance or trying to come across that they're better than everyone, or trash talking. Pete just says a lot of very high profile games are coming their way an they will be ready! Love it. When he says they will be prepared... They will be prepared! Go Hawks.

Yep.. or it will only work for a year, then he will lose the team.

The funny part about that is the exact opposite happened. The team has improved every year since he took over and a bunch of the players are just hitting their prime.

This talk about repeating being almost impossible is a load of crap.

48 Super Bowls. 24 possible repeat champs. 8 repeat champs. 1 in 3 chance of a repeat. Given our current 4:1 vegas odds, That seems just about right.

Far from "almost impossible," I agree, but using all-time stats is misleading given how much rarer it is in the salary cap era.
