Remember when people were getting all stupid about Earl's supposed "body language" when the Hawks drafted him? He's never been anything but completely 100% all in with this team, and this article shows it. The man is going to be in the Ring of Honor when his career is done, and as long as he plays the next 4 years like he's played the last 4, he is going to be a lock for the HoF.

I remember how people were getting all stupid about Russell Wilson vs Flynn. Probably just the nature of fans. :thfight7:

In this article, Earl says he was mad at the president for even mentioning th Niners during the Hawks ceremony! Love it!

That's right. Not appropriate for the Pres to use foul language like that... even if he was trying to applaud their accomplishments.

I love the attitude of all the LOB but Earl has the *perfect* attitude for his position as elder spokesman for the group by virtue of being the highest draft pick and the acknowledged MVP of the backfield. The guy just never hits a false note, he's smart, works his butt off, and is always plugged in and intense. Guy is the textbook pro.

Earl is 100% right in this situation. This was the Seahawks day and the President made a cheap attempt to try to show he had done his research or that he was aware of the in's and outs of the seahawks championship run. But Earl is right. Why make it even about the rivalry. Rivalry = completely overblown. Its about the Seahawks.
