I have never seen that video sequence put together like that, IT'S AWESOME!!!

I can see why the Y-tube police would pull it though, many copyright infringements, but 100% a laugher to watch.

GO HAWKS!!!

That video is pretty sweet, had not seen it before. It should have been considered "fair use," an exception to copyright, because it was done without commercial intent and contains multiple spiceups from different sources that give it educational and artistic value. If any, it's a non-profit commentary on the play. Screw the NFL for unjustly impeding the marketplace of ideas.

YouTube is headquartered in San Bruno, California. San Bruno overlooks San Francisco Bay.

Many think they censor for a purpose ...... that being to shape what we can access for their own benefit.

Silicon Valley and the Bay Area have become the "800 Pound Gorilla" they were so fond of warning everyone about a couple of decades ago. It's a heavy handed empire the rest of the world must deal with.

It's good to have alternatives. North American headquarters for Vimeo is in New York. Hopefully that will prove far enough removed from insecure California interests and minimize interference. We could all benefit from an additional alternative service with headquarters at a clearly neutral location.

Bahh...Sherman is just lucky.....real lucky........I mean REALLY LUCKY :!:
Lucky, he's almost always in the right place at the right time, Lucky that he almost always reads the plays & route formations better than the opposing Receivers do, and often goads the Quarterbacks into trying to alter the play, to counter his cover skills.
Doesn't hurt to have LUCKY Earl Thomas, who often, takes away the Quarterbacks options by foiling the other Receivers routes...so the truth is, that's why Kraepper said that he'd take the one on one of Crab & Sherman any day of the week.

I know a couple Seahawks' fans who work at youtube and google. This is more of an issue with the NFL scouring youtube for its content and sending complaint letters. Even the content that has been repurposed is disappearing if it's of a certain quality.

what a weird conspiracy theory.

Anyways.

It's against copyright law to publish copyrighted materials on sites like youtube, and even Vimeo. However Vimeo is much more on the 'user' side of the 'fair use' argument against proscriptions of copyright. I'm assuming youtube has many more advertisers and investments, and generally assumes more risk.

Most of these fan made videos that get posted are harmless, but the issue is that when you or I go to youtube and watch one, we are subjected to advertisements. Companies that own the copyrights on the footage can then hold youtube accountable because they are making money off the advertisements. So if a company says "Please take this down", youtbe will comply. I don't think Vimeo has nearly the advertising revenue youtube does. If they ever do you'll see the same thing happen there. Right now it's just not popular or lucrative enough to turn into a court issue.

That's the spin ..... working cover story for censorship of publicly aired material.

Google is a monster.

Looks like you made a video to attempt to prove a point and you took the low road in attempting to prove that point. If fewer people see this as a result of YouTube banning it, I'd call it a small victory.

Wait. What?

The only think I can think of is that he thought the porn comment was real and that there was actual porn on there.
