Note to fellow 12's from the landlord - LEAVE SHERMAN ALONE!

As some of you may have heard, Richard Sherman is angry at the media for publishing his home address. I agree with him that this is messed up, but I'm especially disappointed in our fanbase that apparently keep harassing him at his home for autographs and pictures.

Listen up folks; If you can't leave these individuals alone in their private time, you're not acting like a true 12. It's bulls**t that Sherm or any other player has to deal with work stuff when at his private residence, and if you're part of the people doing it, you're not being a good fan.

Now I know & understand that some of these people are professional autograph seekers, and there isn't anything I can do about them directly, but for my fellow Seahawks fans, spread the word and let everyone know that this isn't the way we should be conducting ourselves so lay off these guys when they're not acting on behalf of the team or a scheduled public appearance. This goes 100 fold for their private homes and residence.

There is a sign I once saw that said "Just because you CAN do something does not mean you SHOULD". Some people should get that tattooed on them.

Reading about people pestering him I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but still it is disappointing.



What is funny is that sometimes we think we are somehow different but somehow every fan base has the same type of *ssholes. It seems it wasn't too long ago that we were ripping elements of the Texans' fan base because they had people 'visiting' (allegedly) the home/driveway of the then starting QB. There was a whole long thread about how terrible that kind of behavior was and why this group or that group of fans are bad.

Then we got guys who follow the Hawks (I won't call them 'ours') that do the same kind of cr*p.

Perhaps we should post the full names and addresses of those at the Seattle Times responsible. Theirs are just as public as Sherman's, and I hear porno mags are always looking for more addresses to send subscriptions to... :devil:
