Hmm, De Shawn Shead listed as CB vs. DB now on team roster

Prior to today, De Shawn Shead has always been listed as a DB vs CB on the Seahawks roster. I assumed that is due to his utility at both CB and Safety positions. As of today, it's suddenly changed to CB. The two remaining players listed as DB vs. CB are Parks and Auguste. Someone also went to the trouble of switching Jeanpierre from G/C to C/G.

Hmm... It could mean nothing, since it looks like some of those designations are a bit random. ie. use of OT vs. just T for Bowie and Hauptman. Or LB for every other LB minus KPL, who is listed as OLB.

From reading the article, it still seems to make more sense keeping him listed as DB vs. CB as was previously the case.

Oh well...

I thought he looked good at CB in the preseason, but preseason success can be deceptive. We saw him at safety just a little bit in the regular season, I don't remember him looking great there, but Pete has a way of making players grow, especially in the secondary.
