They are already playing. NFLN just showed a few minutes of the concert on their pre game show

Unlike a lot of bands that have got back together to tour, Soundgarden clearly decided not to rely on any technology to enhance/maintain a sound that makes you say, "wow, they still have it". Nowhere close to sounding as tight as they used to, and Chris has lost a great deal of his tone and power. His throat needs a rebuild.

Watch their "Guitar Center Sessions" episode and it's even more apparent.
