Beast mode and the media: what happened?

I love this clip of Marshawn. It makes me laugh every time. But my question is, while he obviously doesn't look super comfortable, he was at least giving fairly normal answers to the media. What changed between then (2010?) and now? Any ideas?

Might have something to do with the latest contract negotiations, we'll work on changing the pay structure, but you have to make some concessions too...

Lynch had problems back in Buffalo that were his fault but the media there made it out far worse than what really happened. Since then he has shied away from talking to them. But I think now that with his success that may have worn off a bit.
