Since Lane was put on the IR/DTR list, there was nobody added to this weeks injury report from last week, so that's great news. We'll see how things develop for Michael. Pete said there's a chance he gets back this week, but he was very optimistic about next week for him

Thursday's practice report is the same as Wednesday's report.

Well, Helfet didn't practice at all last week, and he was limited today, so he has a decent shot at being ready for the game this week. We'll know more as the week progresses. Game status is listed with Friday's report

Most weeks Helfet would be a healthy scratch but with enough guys banged up he could likely help on STs.

Yea, basically what he said in his presser was that Michael did some running today and was looking pretty good, and they expect him to practice but they won't know until he comes into the facility today and they see how he's doing after yesterday.

Of course he sounded more sure about him practicing next week

Well, the new injury report and practice update came out with no changes, so it looks like Michael may not be back this week after all. Not too surprising. Pete sounded hopeful for this week, but seemed more sure that he'd be ready next week.

Well we certainly have that position covered so no worries. Be nice to have him back for the Donkeys though.

I agree, and am not "worried", but I know there are plenty of fans that follow everything he does with an overzealous scrutiny, both those wanting him to play and those that may not. He's piqued quite a bit of interest, and rightfully so.

From the looks of the game status report, I'd say that it's safe to say that Helfet will likely be inactive.
