The Chargers play call that scored against us three times

A perfectly chosen play, a perfectly ran route, a perfectly thrown pass (on the move), and a perfectly made catch x3, in the blazing heat, after controlling the ball for 75% of the game... if that's what it takes to mentally and physically beat our defense, so be it. I'll accept it.

No excuses, those were great play calls by the Chargers. However, normally Kam Chancellor would be on top of that play ready to blow up the TE as the ball arrived. He was dealing with an ankle injury and just diagnosed it too late.

Rivers has been playing lights out at QB the last 2 years for a 106.9 QB rating. Guy is no joke. When the Chargers D can keep opposing teams to 20 points or under, they have the potential to win more often than not but I guess that's true to any good offensive team that has mediocre defensive support.

But to be honest though it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that there was something wrong with Kam Chancellor in that game or that KJ Wright and Malcolm Smith have been a step behind in coverage duties.
